What Does this blood Test Result Mean?

hello doctor ,
i have a problem with my eyes which turn red frequently , my eye doctor suggested to do AEC test in order to find if i am susceptible to any allergic reaction.My blood test report revels following ,
AEC result : 640/Cumm Reference 40-440
Eosinophil:08% Reference 1- 6
Basophil:0% Reference 1-2

is there anything to worry , Please suggest how to bring the above to within the reference range.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Te eosinophils are elevated since the number of eosinophils are more than the normal reference range.
High eosinophils are seen in allergic conditions.
Redness of eyes suggest conjunctivitis.
Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva which is the outer lining of the eye.
Allergy can lead to inflammation of conjunctiva and thus redness of eyes.
Treatment of this type of conjunctivitis is use of anti-allergic eye drops and avoiding the allergen.
The basophils at 0% is a normal finding.
